About the Role
As CFO, you will be central to Burt’s strategic development, guiding financial operations, capital raising, and regulatory compliance to drive both stability and expansion. This hybrid role offers flexibility in work location, with regular travel to Burt’s offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and New York.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial strategy & capital raising: Lead efforts to secure funding and scale Burt's operations, focusing on SaaS growth and global expansion, while serving as the company's key representative to the stock market and shareholders.
Commercial vision: Shape business opportunities, driving profitability and positioning Burt strategically within the tech sector.
SaaS metrics and KPIs: Develop and implement key metrics for scalability, aligned with SaaS business models.
M&A, IPO, and compliance oversight: Manage financial aspects of acquisitions and IPO processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work with product and operations teams to align offerings with financial goals and market demands.
Financial reporting and analysis: Prepare comprehensive financial reports for executive and board-level stakeholders.
Operational efficiency: Proactively optimize budgeting, forecasting, and financial control processes. Proactively use financial tools and insights to spot trends and possibilities and act on them, as well as spotting risks and mitigate those.
Post-merger integration: Ensure strategic alignment and operational synergy post-acquisition.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s in finance, economics, business administration, industrial engineering, or similar.
Experience: 15+ years in financial leadership, with experience from IPO processes and high-growth tech or SaaS companies.
SaaS and regulatory knowledge: Deep understanding of SaaS business models, KPIs, and compliance frameworks.
Technical skills: Proficient in financial modeling and reporting tools.
Language: Fluent English with strong presentation and communication skills.
